Cookin’ up a tune, with the Cujo Family.

I took this a part of some promo shots for The Cujo Family. I wanted to try something different to the poses (All members in a line) usually associated with music promo shots.

1800×1200 resized6 by Jonnyp16v, on Flickri think the idea is great, well done those line ups do get fairly boring alright!
however, the 3 figures around the table come up quite dark (on my monitor), and they’re hard to make out. this coupled with the fact that they are in the background makes me wonder if they are in the band and if so what level of importance they are given… are they merely support for the two doing the cooking?
Cheers Isabella, I should have said that they wanted to highlight the songwriters in this image and have the other member waiting for the song to add their own touches. I had intended to have the members in the background slightly darker than the two in the foreground, maybe they are a bit too dark. I can see what you mean about questioning the level of importance of the members in the background.
ok, makes more sense now. maybe something with a subtle light source just to pick them out of the background or a light from above? i think the fact that they’re all sitting down and are further back differentiates them enough so that a bit more light wouldn’t hurt. its a bit harder when they’re all dressed in black as they’ve a tendency to turn into blobs…
still though, really like the idea. very creative
