Sydney Australia

KennyParticipant
Hi guys,
Not long back from a month in australia, the weather wasn’t the best but when I arrived back in sydney at the start of their winter I was greeted with beautiful sunshine and nice sunsets. Here’s some shots I like, appreciate any feedback:
Sydney Opera House at Sunset by Darren Kenny, on Flickr
Sydney Skyline by Darren Kenny, on Flickr
Circular Quay, Sydney by Darren Kenny, on FlickrAnd while there’s something about this one that I like, I think I need to work on the PP a bit more, it seems a little muted/noisy :(
Sydney Opera House by Darren Kenny, on FlickrThanks,
DarrenshutterbugParticipantYou get around dont you? Sydney, London when you doing Paris
Another nice set of images, love the reflections of the buildings really nice.
KennyParticipantHaha thanks! Paris is actually quite high on the list of places to go this year. Haven’t been since before I took an interest in photography and really want to go back. Hopefully by the end of the year anyway ;) Guess there was some advantages to not going on any holidays last year, meant I got to carry over a load of holidays for some cool trips this year :) Glad you like the shots
PixelleMembersndipoMemberGreat light in all of them! Want to explain what’s the surface in the second picture? That ain’t no water anymore :D Just a table? (one shiney table!)
Haven’t really seen pictures of the city skyline of Sydney, everyone captures the most known buildings only, so well done on that, too. Looking forward to Paris pictures :lol:KennyParticipantThanks :) the second picture was taken from the rooftop balcony at the Bounce Hostel near Central Station just off the business district. The reflective surface is a black table with a glass top, if you blow it up you can just about make out the black woven pattern under the glass:
