This is nice, the composition is really strong and the lighting gods looked kindly on you also. A lovely image throughout but I’m well impressed by the detail and colours in the rocks under the water.

When I saw the title I said I’d have a look as I have some shots of Errigal from last year. I wasn’t expecting what I saw!!! The whole image is flawless for me. Beautiful colours, lovely foreground interest and all leading to the mountain. Excellent image and one I would be proud to have taken.

I like this a lot. Love the colours and composition. The positioning of the items in the frame is excellent too. Shot from a similar spot a few years back and got eaten alive by flies…! Had to give up eventually and had got nothing like this.

    Great stuff

i agree with almost all of pats comments.

i find that tree stump to be distracting, but its a small issue.

    well done

    lovely image.

completely disagree with aoluain about the tree stump, i think its really interesting and adds a lot to the scene. the reflection of the white cloud is perfectly placed behind it. the vertical line of the trunk helps to define the right hand third of the frame and points up directly to the almost vertical break in the clouds above and therefore in my view is a vital balance in the scene and would be far less remarkable without it in my opinion.
