the Volvo Ocean Race

I am a big fan of sailing, and even if i am usually concentrating on landscapes, i coudn’t resist taking the camera with me to the Volvo Ocean Race in Galway.

Nice shots Philippe in difficult weather conditions, number 1 is an excellent shot. It must have been a great experience to be on the water with these boats.

I was lucky to be on the water in a very good boat ( i am part of a Coast Guard unit here in the west)
and the weather wasn’t that bad. clouds were very dark, and wind was blowing good, but because they were blowing northerly there wasn’t too big waves in the Galway Bay. I really enjoyed it.
