Its part of a bamboo that’s been shed (culm sheath) after the stem opens up just placed on an old deck in a corner of the garden.
Should have mentioned that :)
I like the background, and the processing is suitable. Any other ideas for a subject?

Yes I have a couple of others which I’ll root out and post up.
Ah, prefer the first one out of them three now. Think it works much better. Suppose have to find the right amount to have in the picture and what distance to have them at..if you know what I mean. Just think of still life as I look at that picture.

For me it was a bit of an exercise to see how many photos I could make from the subject.
