Camera phones, better than I thought (Snail Pic)

  Bringing out the bins yesterday and i noticed a pretty cool snail in the Ivy. Only having my camera phone ( HTC One M7) I gave it a go. Pretty astonished at the result. Dont get me wrong, i dont think its an amazing photo, but for a camera phone its pretty cool.
  Can get in super close with the camera phones due to super small lens. processing all done on the phone also using stock built in software.

  Using this as a case study for a young cousin who thinks he needs a top of the line DSLR to take decent photos.
  2 years ago i would not leave the house without a pocket camera, now the phone feels perfectly adequate.

  Not bad at all, depth of field beats a macro lens!

  Yep, the DOF on the auld Macro lens is a shade narrower….

  Haa, that is good. I like the way he’s got one of his antenna things through the little hole in the leaf. Great comparison also :lol:

  Oh, thought the other two look like eyes but they aren’t?! That they still have just two eyes..no? :P
  Will Google that one.
