  Taken one early morning with a tired subject:) Any comments?

  Hi Josiah,

  I find the image a little dark and think it might be better if if the area surrounding the subject was brighter.

  The image also makes me feel a little sad as the subject seems upset or down for some reason.

  I wondered what you wanted the photograph to say to us?

  You’re right about the darkness of the image. I didn’t have the time to edit it on PS :)

  I like my photography to provoke a response. If you felt sad, then I’m happy (!) because I meant the shot to convey a person who is indeed upset/depressed, etc. I wanted to create a dark, foreboding effect that would immediately strike the viewer. If I’ve achieved this, the photo in my opinion has been successful.
