Armoy road race practice

    Hi
A photo of Guy Martin from practice session at Armoy: I’m looking for some advice on the image. Obviously, I’ve metered for the details on the bike, but the sky is completely blown out. What’s the best way to deal with this? Any in-camera settings to recommend (it’s a Canon 20d) or just try a get some detail back in post processing?

    Thanks
    Stephen

I think you did all you could as it’s better to have the bike properly exposed rather than a few clouds

If you were to shoot in RAW you would have a better chance of pulling back some detail in the sky.

    Thanks.
I have the file in RAW on the camera, will have a bit more of play with it and see if I can improve it
