An old take

  Hi All,

  Hope this fits into the right category.

  I think it has a bit of character, although i do think it could be composed a bit better. It was taken with Canon AE-1 at about f8 possibly 1/500 with ilford delta 400 and scanned with a Veho scanner. It’s only my second roll of film but liking it.

  i think i would prob have given a tad less exposure as overall its a wee bit grey… this can somewhat be overcome with a high res scan and a tiny bit of photoshop although one can never entirely make up for a dull grey day with no strong shadow…

  Thanks for taking the time to comment. Totally agree with what your saying, wish I could get a high res scanner but I might try bringing the negs to a shop and get them scanned in that way..

  Yea, sky wasn’t great that day either but it reminded me of a photo from a newspaper of days gone by!
