Few of these guys in the bathroom, regardless of how clean we keep it so they have become a test for my new flash bracket and macro lens. Trickier than spiders & flies as they tend to be in more alkward positions, very low to the ground or wall but i intend to do better next time.

I actually did, a while back. It could get reasonably close but lighting was the main issue.

Its nothing fancy, just an attempt to get more, better quality light in front of the lens to light up smaller macro subjects.
Its a cheapo bracket got on ebay and a diffuser. It cost about 10 quid so was an expirement, but its looking like I might spend a bit more on better similar components.Making (or having my dad make) a bracket to mount this on the side of the camera also so I can still use a tripod/monopod
I use the friction arm and a bracket. The bracket isn’t sturdy enough though.
