the rock of cashel…a quick detour on the way homeAnonymousParticipantA great set of shots & I would like to think your journey was well worth it!
My favorite would be The Rock of Cashel, even with the scaffolding. Beautiful.ShutterlightMemberGood pics esp 1. 4 and 6. Like the cloud movement in 6 – adds drama.
Gerry.
shutterbugParticipantReally super set of shots Dallan, can’t pick a favourite, well maybe Kinsale! But all
are lovely.jodal1975ParticipantThanks folks … I wish I had more time and better weather…. But it was nice to get something as on the way down last Monday I was convinced we’d be stuck in our hotel rooms for the 3 days , the rain was so bad! A lot of the places I would love to revisit in better light also…. Little chance of that any time soon!! The rock of cashel and kinsale marina are my 2 favourites I think
sirvadMember1 and 2, the light is very harsh although they wud make for lovely post cards. i like 3, nice colours and light( there seems t be a smudge on the top 3rd on lhs).4 is a good image IMO, with nice colours and composition. sorry but 5 does nothing 4 me. looks flat and looks a bit over sharpened. nice movement in no. 6 sky, wud clone the RHS if it were mine. well done on getting out and about, hope ya enjoyed your wee break!
RASMITH32Memberlike them all , very nice images. The one one the boats probably has just a bit too much forground . Love the 1st
JMac-2006Participantyou certainly got some great skies despite the mixed weather, 1,4,6 are my faves prob from the graphical element though they are all great
wirepicParticipantI like 1 and 4 here, especially 4. I can’t help wondering though if there weren’t a few more viewpoints for 4. Especially with some water movement from a long exposure.

wirepic i know what you mean…on the day i tried everything …every angle you could think of…the poles going out into the distance with a slow shutter ( 1min 30 ish)the whole lot…i just couldnt get anything i was happy with :x . the poles curved out in 2 different directions and the tide wasn’t fully in , so sand was visible . there was houses showing in the back ground….it was a nightmare :x all part of the learning process i suppose  ……im just not sure what i’ve learned
aoluainParticipantvery nice clean clear and well managed images.
the best part is you have beautiful light to use.
well done. hard to pick a fav.
