I bought the Epson SX445W wireless printer earlier this year and I have lost the installation CD. I need to reinstall everything but when I go to the Epson site its not exactly straightforward. I downloaded the drivers for the scanner but when I tried to use it it would not work wirelessly, only when attached via USB. And the printer is also not working wirelessly.
I was wondering if anyone here had this printer and if so had the CD which I could either borrow, or would someone be able to rip the cd and burn me a copy of it.
You will probably need to install your IP address again on the printer, so that it is
connected to your router, it just sounds like it is not connecting to the network.
I contacted epson and they gave me a link to the drivers for download.
I did this last night but I cannot get it to work wirelessly. I get a “communication error” on the Printer display. It works when I hook it up via usb.
Anyone got any ideas how I get this working wirelessly. I can see the wireless icon on the printer display so it is seeing the signal.
Mark you need to put in your network key on the printer, I dont know this particular
printer but it is usually done on the printer, if it is detecting the signal then the only
thing stopping you is the key, this is usually on the underside of the router.
