    i like these, theres always a kind of eerie deadness to those monoculture plantations. the second one is particularly hauntingly still. nice job

    You’ve captured and used the symmetry well, I like. The light in the middle in the second one is the ‘eeriest’ so more of that would make a shot like this even more intriguing, I reckon ;)

    thank you both for your comments,
    yes…eerie is the word, especially being on your own in the dead of the forest…and this track leads into a bronze age burial mound (barrow), you can just see it through the trees on the right.

    Good job on both. On the first, maybe stand in the middle of the 2 leading lines and lower to the ground. Draw the eye to the natural focal point in the middle of the image. well done
