I am a semi-professional photographer, in that I do not yet advertise myself as a photographer but have received work through word of mouth and have done a number of various jobs including several weddings. I have recently been asked to do some planogram photography for a small company. They want me to photograph approximately 60 products. I use a Canon 5d markii and they are providing a lightbox. I have only done product photography once before for a low price, as a favour for a friend and since it was my first time doing it. I have read that product photography should be priced per product, but this company are asking me to quote an hourly rate. Can anyone suggest to me how I might charge for this kind of work, and how much would be a fair/standard price?
Thanks, Sorcha.
