    Not the sharpest pic ever taken but i liked the results in PP. Over to you guys.

    if the bokeh was part of the original shot then i doubt if both the flower spikes would be so sharply in focus as they would have to both be exactly the same distance from the lens? it doesn’t sit right for me anyway…
    maybe a slight warming filter would improve the image also as the light is a little cold/dull. I’m not mad on the composition either to tell the truth, maybe it could be improved by removing some of the flowerless right hand side and some of the left to make it square?

    just my opinions though, i wouldn’t be vastly knowledgeable on flower photography!

    I love purple, and purple flowers are extra nice. But have to agree with Isabella, this composition doesn’t work for me. Apart from the purple colour, it does seem a bit dull. Maybe a different angle would work better even?
    I do like the depth of field between the sharp flower and the background. Can still make out there is a road there.

    Have to say, too, would not know much about shooting flowers either!
