Hi all, Just wondering what the max amount of weddings other professional photographers would book in for any one year and
Do you have a max amount for any one month. I know everybody’s situations are different as far as having second shooters , editors and other photography work on but would just like to get an idea. Many thanks in advance
You must be busy if your asking the question ?? Answer….as many as I can get !!!!
Really though I dont think the question arises much anymore as couples seem to be getting every Tom…Dick…and Harry
to cover this very important event and of course lots of couples will go for the photographer offering a full CD of photos covering
you getting out of the bed on the morning of your marriage to the time you get into bed again and all for €300.00…whhat a bargain ??????
Hi Noel, Thanks a mill for taking the time to respond. Yes booking up nicely and lets just say I ain’t cheap. I have 8 booked for next June alone and was wondering should I stop there, I never like turning away business but was just wondering what other photographers think?
In regards to people shooting weddings for Ridiculously cheap, I don’t think that their kind of clients are what I would want, It’s a two way thing in my opinion. Nothing better than a client that appreciates good CREATIVE photography.
I don’t shoot weddings personally, but I think that you should only accept the amount of weddings that you can give a full service to. What I mean is, that you should be able to dedicate plenty of time for each, without rushing through one to get to another. Time spent with the couple beforehand can be invaluable, as can the time spent afterwards post processing / presentation etc.
Many of the couples that do hire the Tom, Dick & Harry photographers, wouldn’t recognise a good photograph anyway, let alone, an appreciation for the amount of work that’s involved in producing a creative album.
