    Looking for a Wide Angle Lens for my Canon… Was planning on getting the Sigma 10-20mm F4 Which Uk price is about 450Euro at the moment, However i’ve been offered the F3.5 Version with Heliopan Filter for 490Euro. But also had the Tamron SP AF 10-24mm F3.5 in Mind if anyone could give me their 2 cents before i purchase i would be greatful.

    Sigma will give you best results , but before buying any third party lens i suggest to try it on your camera first as third party lenses may have BF/FF issues with canon bodies, nikon as well but not so bad as conon.
    BF = back focus
    FF – front focus

    Ended up getting the sigma 10-20 f3.5 extremely happy with it thanks for the replies.

    Hi,

    I thought I would hijack this thread rather than start a new one.

    I too am considering the sigma 10-22 for my 7d, but I would like to purchase a second body (5d) in the near future. As far as I know the sigma 10-22 will not work on full frame cameras. Can anyone recommend alternative wide angle lenses that would work on both cameras?
