Are Old Film Cameras valuable?

Hi,
pretty much zero information just yet but my mum mentioned lately that Dad has a really old film camera in the attic, when he got it, it was really old & that is well over 20 years ago. Are they some that could possibly be worth anything? would it be worth digging it out or are old film cameras worthless? Im sorry i cant even tell you what manufacturer is it just now :/Some can be worth money, some can be worth very little. Really depends on what the camera is and the condition.
When you get your hands on it do a quick search on ebay for the manufacturer and model to give you an idea of its worth…

Or if its in good condition you could run a roll of film through, now that woupd be a good buzz!
