    i think the underlying image is beautiful but i would take out the selective colour and make it pure B+W rather than green but i guess im a bit old fashioned…

    i convert by dropping out the saturation in the RAW processing stage

    Nice composition Mark but I tend to agree with Isabella on this one and would prefer to see all B&W. Your selective colouring makes the image all about the water drawing the viewers attention there when the image itself appears to want to be about the white Infra red trees. This leaves the eye a little confused IMO. I would get rid of the green and create a second B&W with a high contrast tweak blackening the water and bring the inky black water into the shot to enhance the trees instead of take away. BTW the filter has done a great job in creating the IR effect. I spoke to a guy in a shop last year when I was about to buy one and he noted they simply dont work….It appears he was wrong!.
