Introduction to Landscape Photography

Hi all,
Just to let you know about a great value one day course on Landscape Photography that is being held on 20 April 2013. The course is organised by the Walkers Association of Ireland, and is being delivered on a voluntary basis by Gerry Dwyer of the Dublin Camera Club: http://www.irelandswildlandscape.com/” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false; and Bernie Morrow of Celbridge Camera Club: http://www.bmorrowphoto.com/” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false;
The day consists of a short class-room element at the Brockagh Centre in Laragh village, but with most of the day spent photographing in the beautiful Glendalough National Park. The course will cover:
– Using the camera, lenses, tripods, filters
– Composition and the elements of good landscape photography
– Understanding and controlling light
– Understanding the histogram and white balance
– And much more!In previous years this very enjoyable event has been fully booked, and early registration is strongly encouraged. The course is ideal for anyone that wants to learn how to improve their landscape photographs.

I believe the glitch with the registration at http://www.walkersassociation.ie/” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false; should now be sorted, and registrations are now getting through again. However, if anyone has any further problems, please send me a PM and I will arrange registration.
To add to the value of the course, participation also includes membership of the WAI for 12 months at no extra cost! Details of the progamme of events are available on the website.
