jebnevinParticipantIsabellaParticipant
the images have to be on a site like flickr, i even have a dropbox account but i couldnt locate the images even by copy and pasting the url into the search box on there….
you have to put the images on flickr and then copy the image address into a post here between the two [img][img]thingies… i couldnt tell you how to get the image address on a pc, i just right click on the image and select ‘copy image address’…
there is also a post on the site about how to upload images. Good luck!
jebnevinParticipantCelticpicsParticipantWelcome to the forum,
if i may throw a couple of comments, i would say you might try and comsider every element in your composition ,
for exemple, the little bit of grass in the right corner doesn’t add anything to the picture, and if you decide to have a
foreground point of focus , it must be of some interest and more prominent.
Also you might want to decide wether you want the waterfall on the left handside in or out of your frame , halfway is rarely a good choice .
finally on the composition side , your horizon line might be slightly off ( looking at the brige and the angle of the building).
on another note, your point of focus is not very clear. it probably should have been one third in the picture, or around your waterfall rocks but they look out of focus maybe.
finally your sky is a little bit overexposed , which can be easilly corrected by using a graduated Neutral Density filter.
Sorry for sounding picky but other wise it is a rather good image and a nice subject.
well done.

CelticpicsParticipantCool ,i thought i was being a bit too negative.
the thing to remember is, we all made these mistakes at some stage , and we are still making mistakes ,
but this forum can be great place to progress quickly if you don’t mind a bit of criticism, as long as it is constructive.
i am looking forward to see your future pics.
cheers.
PhilippejebnevinParticipanthave a look at my pics of Teide national park under landscape if your bored. Thanks again.
