This pano was captured on Saturday 6th April in Portrane, North Co. Dublin. Looking out over Lambay Island. The pano consists of 30 images processed in LR4 and stitched in Autopano Giga 3
Thanks for asking. I use a Nodal Ninja panoramic head on my tripod. I have it set for 10 degree incremental rotation. I usually only have about 10 – 15 images in a pano. This time I had two rows and this obviously increases the number of frames.
The other issue is the speed that the darn sun comes up at. You just wouldn’t believe it. As I shoot fully manual: fixed ISO, Manual mode, fixed ‘K’ temperature within the camera. I can then us exposure fusion feature in my software when stitching. I have to do this because the light is changing so fast with the rising sun. Having more shots makes helps in the final output.
