The Albert

The Albert pub is a beautiful little place, full of character. It is squashed in between glass high
rise buildings. I liked this particular shot as it showed (part) of the new Routemaster bus on one
side and the traditional black Taxi on the other.
What an interesting looking building. I think the processing has put me off a bit though, is it a touch of HDR or something else?
I like it a lot Shutterbug and love the colour in it what time was it taken at. It also reminds me of the film called “Batteries not included”
Love it. Great colours and the contrast with the old and new work really well. The colour of the bus adds to it too. I thought it was HDR myself. What are u using to Tone Map a single image ?

Thanks Mark, I use Photomatix for tone mapping, I prefer it to HDR less trouble too, don’t have to worry
about lining everything up properly, works better with moving subjects also.Hi Jenny,
I really like the look of this.
I thought it had a kinda HDR feel but I think it suits.I imagined it too without the bus.
It’s sign does hint to it’s location but then the taxi does as well.
Just a thought and not a criticism.Nice one.
