hi folks.
right, i got present fo a voucher for the camera centre.
and decided that i wanted get a polarisation filter.
i went in and tey were asking for €79 for a 67mm kenko filter.
is that the price of a good filter, or a bit expensive
thanks!
Bit pricey, if you bought elsewhere you would get the same for less, or a higher quality filter for the same price, I think. The quality of the Kenko filter should probably be fine by the way, just that the likes of Hoya multicoated filters/ Heliopan/ Nikon/ etc, would be regarded more highly.
If going for a polariser, its an expensive filter, and it might be worth considering getting a 77mm filter, and mounting it on your lens with a 77mm-to-67mm stepdown ring, as that way with the appropriate stepdown ring you will be able to mount it on any lens you have.
Good luck with whatever you opt for in the end, and welcome to the forum by the way :)
