I took these the other night from Dollymount the other night, I used three filters one 0.6 and one 0.9 neutral density and one 0.9 graduated filter, both images are panoramic put together in photoshop. I noticed some weird patterns along the horizon as well, particularly the first one u can see it on the left, the exposure is 30 seconds i think its birds flying across the image there was a lot of them around. andy comments or criticism welcome.
Plenty of potential in the location. The first one if my preference, like the texture in the water and the colours in the sky. The second image is a bit cold for my liking..
i like them both, although something about the pink light in the first adds an extra something. i dont notice any particular texture on the left horizon although i think i would be inclined to crop off the left edge where those dark spots in the water/beach come into the frame… but that may just be a personal thing…
Nice light, like the first one, agree with previous you might be better cropping a little off the left
thanks for the comments guys, ill try the crop out, im hoping to go back soon enough if theres a nice evening, tide needs to be right as well though so have to wait for a number of factors for that spot.
