Busy garden Jenny, three very nice shots with the Coal Tit standing out for me, I really like the autumn background. The Song Thrush really blends in well with their surroundings, that was a good spot.

Thanks Dave and Rita! Yes the garden is busy at the moment, I have to fill the feeders daily thank goodness for Aldi  they were selling a huge sack of seeds for 9.99, very good value.

The Coal Tit is my favourite as well, it was up in the cherry tree with what is left of the leaves in the background so it made for a nice back drop of colour. I couldn’t even see the Thrush in the tree, I knew something was there so just took the shot to see what it was, Lightroom is great for bring up the shadows!

Don’t think I could choose.. I like the berries in the last one, think it’s a bit different from the normal shots, but yet the colours of the Tit picture and the pose of the Robin, please
You’ve real nice lighting in all of these :)

Thanks for the comments! Flash used on first two, and all taken through the window. :D

Getting nice shots of garden birds is something I struggle with Jenny.

    Well done! Excellent images (again!)!

Thanks Peter, I find having plenty of feeders and lots of perching places around the garden
Is an easy way of getting half decent shots. The feeders can be moved around to get the best light,
The birds will follow it around as long as there is food available….lol

Lovely shots Jenny. My favourite is also the coal tit. Are they raindrops I see?

Thanks! Either rain or small fly there are still a lot of midgies around!
