  The WT-5A Wireless Transmitter is designed for use with the Nikon D4 D-SLR camera. It can also be used on the D800 and D7000 D-SLRs when used (along with the UT-1 Communication Unit, not included)

  This amazing Wi-Fi module allows you to use any Wi-Fi device as a file browser and as a remote control for your Nikon camera.

  You can connect your camera to your iPhone or iPad, for example and have FULL CONTROL over the camera through a simple web browser. You can see the live-view image at a decent frame rate, change shooting parameters, shoot pictures, and even shoot videos without having to install anything!

  The WT-5 offers the choice of the following connection types:

  * FTP upload
  * Image transfer
  * Camera control
  * HTTP server
  * Synchronized release

  You can

  * Upload existing photos and movies to a computer or FTP server, or upload new photos as they are taken.
  * Control the camera using optional Camera Control Pro 2 software and save new photos and movies directly to the computer.
  * View and take pictures remotely using a browser-equipped computer or iPhone.
  * Synchronize the shutter releases for multiple remote cameras with a master camera.

  This unit has all the same functionality as the WT-5A but adds a wider, more compatible range of channels in the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands.

  The WT-5 is as new and never used, except for once to test it when I first purchased it about 18 months ago. It’s never left my house since arrival. I am the original purchaser and only owner (and can provide copy of sales receipt of so desired). Purchased from an Authorised Nikon UK Professional dealer.

  This is a genuine and authentic offering. I’m selling because I never used it and am also selling my Nikon D4 (which you can also find offered on Photography Ireland)
