I like this, John – especially the contrasting colours.
My eye keeps wandering to the bright sky on the right …
Plus, there is something about the convergence of the lone of the groynes and the horizon that knocks it a bit out of balance.

Yep the sky is a “little” bright on the right.
It’s only down the road so I can go back. :)
