Hi Mangerton, from your name i assume your based in KIllarney. From your images I think you’ve found a very nice location to take images of unfortunately I think the light on the day you captured these images didn’t do you any favours. If I was I would revisit either early morning or late in the evening to capture nice soft light. Also I think a tree or a rock or maybe even a boat in the lake would improve the foreground nicely.

Looks like a great location would agree with seaview about the light though it does seem a bit flat, early morning or evening there could be fantastic, on the second image as well there seems to be some dark patchs on the lake not sure if its from putting the panaromic together or currents on the lake, might be worth looking out for though.
