Presentations using projected images

Any Mac users out there using software to create digital projected presentation of their work ? PicturesToExe is the best there is it would appear but there is no Mac version.
I have had a look at iMovie and iPhoto but neither seemed to do what I needed.
I need to be able to create a presentation which will work on a windows laptop. I have been asked to give a talk and show some of my stuff and as I am not the most confident of Public speakers I thought I would go with the format of a presentation of my colour work followed by a Q&A session followed by a presentation of my Mono stuff followed by a Q&A.
So what software is anybody out there using for this kind of thing ?

adrianmatthewsParticipantWhat software packages do you have at your disposal. Give a list and will be able to give you a few ideas.

markst33ParticipantNone really. I am looking for advice as to what is a good buy. What is easy to use. I don’t need slides materialising in a million different ways and I don’t need any video capability.

WeemanMemberadrianmatthewsParticipantFotomagico 4 – $99 – download.
However If you have if you have iPhoto – Go – File – Export (This will give you a window in it there will be an option for slideshow) – play around with it.
If you want to do a presentation – Keynote is the Mac version of Powerpoint – Pretty similar.
Failing that you can by Mac Office – Powerpoint is part of that package.Adrian
stcstcMemberyou can export a slideshow from lightroom
your a little limited in what you can do though
powerpoint you can make a slide show that runs, again its not the most controlable though
VizuaphotoMemberHi Mark,,
I have a nice suggestion for you. Apple released a fab presentation builder for Mac called Keynote. It is capable of creating stunning presentations, and really showcase your photos, if that is what you are looking for. I’ts part of Iworks bundle, but well worth it.
Here is some links that may be of use:
https://www.apple.com/mac/keynote/” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false; (Its part of Iworks Apple Bundle)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yp2dL7Mx5o” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false; (quick tutorial by MozyMac just to get an Idea)I have used Keynote and found it very easy to produce great looking slideshows and found that it was very easy to control as well.
Hope this helps.
