Stocking framed images at shop

Has anyone ever had a shop stock their images for sale? If so how did you approach the sale /stock with the shop?, ie did you sell the images up front or agree to stock and receive payment based on the sale to the end customer with a commission to the shop , if so what was the commission? Is there a standard approach? My images would be framed
most shops will only do sale or return, if you are lucky they will buy your work upfront but this is not often the case.
commission tends to be anything from 25 – 40% although higher is not unheard of.
