Very good composition. On my screen is little bit dark.

I like this too, although I do agree with the remark that it looks underexposed.

I brought everything down so the steel would come out ,it was a dull day on the day.
There wasn’t too much thought to it ,I imaged it one night and the next morning I went in and took it.

    Cheers for the comments.

I like it too Brian. I think the darkness gives it a mood and a kind of sci-fi feel. Batman Returns or something like that.

Really like it as a concept.

When I go and try this shot i will do the following:

ND3 half graduate to reduce sky levels (to bring out some detail of the foreground and escalators)
Movement blur on the escalators (very slight to look like 1/4s exposure)

However I must say – I like this shot on its own

When i seen the shot first with out reading the title I was convinced that it was a train station or something like that in some far off place and was VERY suprised to read that it was Blanch.

The concept is brillant I would never thought of that in a millon years.

Realy like the soot including the light – Well done

Exactlky my thoughts when I first saw it. I also knew from the thumbnail that I’d like it. I think the dark and the tone work nicely together. The shapes work well too.
