Took this in April during a week away in west Cork (one of my favouritest places :D ) … its near Roscarberry .. You’ll know it Mark :) seeing as I don’t often get to play around with landscape being a city girl n all… I’d be curious to hear your thoughts

I know the area but don’t know where that is. :o and I’ll be up there some evening.
You’ll have to let me know, I’ve only been exploring coastal parts.
That looks great, the sky, the mist. Standing stones positioned well.

    Well done in my opinion.

That is fantastic. The mixture or isolated clouds at the top – the misty haze and the fluffy clouds off in the distance make the sky look very unusual in this pic.

I think the crop would work just as well with the horizon in the dead centre of the picture as well.

Did you do much in photoshop for this one ?

:D Wow.. great reaction .. Thanks a million

Its the Drumbeg Stone cricle located a couple of miles past Roscarberry – its off the beaten track a bit but it is sign posetd (badly) and all the locals know it.

The mist is actually wood smoke – when we got there a farmer lit a fire just in the field lower down the hill causing the misty effect – great luck though i suppose.

All I did in PS was crop it – usual levels adjustment .. converted it to BW using channel mixer – creating a heavy black sky and sharpened it ..
