    Easy subject but ya have to start somewhere!

    Looks fairly sharp Dan. Only criticism would be that they’re not the best specimens, ie not perfect in colour

    A handy hint is to spray the flower with droplets of water…a toothbrush works well for flicking tiny droplets onto the petals.
    You could also try different angles to get away from the normal face on shot,what size are the flowers by the way?

    flowers were about the size of a bun lol, must get out and find some better objects, time time cant find it…..

    A mans gotta do what a mans gotta do :) Flowers need love too ya know! I’d try a square crop right around the flower and maybe a selective colour to bring out the magenta more. Now that’s cheating :P

    Nope not cheating, just like arranging a portrait shot I’d have thought ;)

    Its standard practice for floral/plant photography, nothing unusual there.

    Is using a flash cheating?……Arranging a still life composition cheating……whatever works to get the shot :lol:
