Orange Order March

As promised, some photos from Wednesday’s Orange Order March in Belfast. The weather was pretty miserable (overcast, constant drizzle), and only a few photos from the day turned out in any way decent. More here

Thanks Gerard – I agree that that scene is somewhat surreal. Now that you’ve drawn my attention to it, I’ve added it to my initial post (it’s the 3rd one).
So colourful. DOF is good on the first one. Where do you go to get those umbrellas in the last one lol
All very good Giles, well done with them. Must try my hand at this type of photography.
Really like the first two here. I probably would have cropped them differently. The first one to concentrate solely on the three marchers in front – the second to concentrate on the marcher holding the flag. Nice work.

I particulaly like the one with the umbrellas. Moving shot.
Powerful to say the least.I don’t fancy parades but I like the first photo, the colours, sharpness and composition but mostly the faces of the first three guys.
