Any new camera advice please?

  Looking to get a new camera in the next few weeks/months (hopefully weeks!). Currently looking at bridge type cameras….don’t think I’m ready for an SLR. Want something that I can easily carry around with me. Specifics I’m looking for are a decent zoom and good macro capabilities. My fav at the moment is the Canon S3 IS. Any advice, comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  I don’t have an reccommendations I can make, but if you check out DP Review, you’ll find lots of honest, unbiased reviews of nearly every make of digital camera.

  Mmmmmmmm……..don’t know about that!!! But thank you! The cost of lenses etc also is an issue! SSIA here I come!!!

  Lens are not cheap, true enough. Like everything depends on the ol’ budget :)
