Katie here! Few of you know me from Boards of Flickr already but for those who dont…
I am from Kerry, and currently studying in Limerick. Doing a PhD in UL in Audio Engineering, specifically Analysis of the Singing Voice, cos first and foremost Im a singer!!
I have always loved taking pictures but never had a decent camera to play with. I learned my very basic skills with an old OM1 belonging to my Dad, and eventually went digital earlier this year with a 350D. Mostly I just wing it, I dont have an english manual, and despite reading books, sites, mags on photography I still find that its just trial and error for me. Go out, take a shot and see what happens kinda mentality. Im not very good at it, but I’ll keep plugging away cos I love it!!
