  Hi a couple of shots I took of young lads skateboarding in Belfast, outside the Waterfront hall.

  Nice shots Soda… one comment… maybe if you where a little closer and nearer ye could have cropped out some of the background which is just a little distracting… I am mad for a go at sketr photography… just never have the gear with me when they are around…!

  The front on view, so far away, really does distract from the skater. I think you either need to get closer, or get a side view to get a better view of what he’s doing.

  As said, you need to get closer, and maybe an under/side view. Like get real low down to the side of him and have the shot looking up, I think that tends to look really good on skate shots.

  Thanks folks for the comments, I know what you mean but these were taken spur of the minute and there were quite a few kids flying in from every direction and I thought they came out pretty well for of the cuff shots.
