Celbridge Camera Club

I only joined up recently (at the end of the season so didn’t get down to many meetings or get to enter or see any competitions).
Normal meetings are Monday evenings in the parish hall, behind the church just inside the Castletown House gates.

Even though the meetings have broken up for the summer, for anyone thats interested, we go on “excursions” every Monday night during the summer break,

Went to a meeting here before the Christmas break up. Seems a very good club. Might join up now if its going again in January.

I’ve had a look at the website and there is some info on meetings. But as I’m very new to this and have only recently completed an evening class (Introduction to Photography), I’m just wondering, do I need to pay to be a member or do I just show up to one of these meetings? Would I benefit a lot from being a complete beginner?
Celbridge will meet next Monday 25th August at Castletown Gates at 7.30 for our last outing of the “summer!”
The following week , Monday Sept 1st at 8pm we will start our 2008-09 Programme in the Slip Hall just inside the gates.
Absolutely all are welcome along, our beginners class will kick of in mid Sept.. but if you are curious feel free to call in any monday evening for a meet, cup of tea.. maybe a biccie or two ;)

Tonight will be the first night back from our summer break.
We will meet inthe Slip Hall in Celbridge at 8pm and kick off the 2008-09 season for the club :) All are welcome along to find out what the new season holds in store and to meet up with new and old friends !!

Hi guys was thinking of joining a club do i just show up on monday? Do i bring any gear? im afraid in not up on protocall. if anyone could let me know it would be great.Thanks
Neilyeah just come along on Monday night – its the first night back so Its just an induction and we get the club programme, membership forms and things like that –
you won’t need to bring any gear with you – apart from Bank Holiday Workshops most Mondays are lectures/ presentations or competitions over the winter ..
If you have any prints its an idea to bring about 5-10 along so that you can be graded and given a competition number … but Its very relaxed and casual so just come along and see what you think ?
