Janusz seems to be using this lens for his wildlife. I could of course be run, the ol’ Polish is a bit rusty ;)

Has anyone here any information about these lenses and their quality/history etc ?

    Thanks

Mark ,try ringing Halls cameras for 3rd party stuff ,they’re based on talbot street.
They seem to stock stuff that other shops don’t bother with ,which in some cases is tamron and soligor.
I got extension tubes there 25 euro cheaper than the soligor european website.

You can believe me – Polish doesn’t always mean rusty…

I know it was written in August but maybe someone needs more info.

Soligor 100-400 needs a lot of light. I made many photos, you can forget about f5,4-6,3. If you want sharp photos you need f9-f11. AF is slow and has no limit button – thats bad cause this lens loves to lose small moving subjects.
There is only 1 good reason to buy this lens – price ;-)

    Greetings from Poland.
