I hope this works….my first attempt to post an image.

Really great pose – spot on exposure and composition – thats a cool picture all round. Just out of curiosity was there much processing done on it – reason I ask is that her skin looks perfect. I would be curious to know the lighting setup you used for that one too.

Thanks for your comments! Lighting was a 170cm Octabox with Elinchrom D-Lite head more or less from the front. I did a Kodak Skin softening action which accounts for the perfect skin, although Helen’s complexion did not really require it.

Great pose, great expression, great lighting. Though is it just me, or does she look just a tiny bit googly-eyed? Something about her eyes just seems off.

Good job Helen, bang on with everything, did you use a hairlight also?
Think the antifuse might be talking about the right eye being slighltly lazy compared wuth the left. I have known certain models to perform excercises on their face before a shoot to loosen their expressions and look. Apperently we all suffer from lazy eye especially adults from 25 yrs on..Anyways top shot regardless..

The first is definitely my favourite of yours to date Brandyman, really like it. I’m not sure about the second. The model doesnt seem to be engaging her main light source??

Lovely shots nice to see a fellow Belfast man doing such great work.

Just had a look at the Kodak actions. Was th one you used the Gem Airbrsh and is it worth th ?54.00 approx.

Can you recommend any other PS Plug ins for Portrait/fashion work.

Thats a good question – I wouldnt mind finding a good ‘skin improving’ action (so long as it doesnt go overboard).
