This dude and his wife (you can kinda see her hair sticking out from behind him, which is unfortunate) were just sitting on a bench while I was shooting in Dun Laoghaire last month. I thought it offered a decently interesting composition (at least in the square crop version), though it’s not quite as sharp as I’d like…
Hmmm the guys position in the frame doesn’t look quite right. His legs are cropped off and there is too much wall in my opinion
I agree with Mark. The composition is not the best. It will be good if you would have the missing part of his body in landscape format.
Its been said .. the composition doesn’t work for me – But fair play to you for using the wall like that – with less wall it may have worked, but i think you would want to see more of the subject in the shot – ideally with some space in front of him.

Hrmm… criticisms noted, folks, cheers! I actually specifically tried to frame the wall around him like this, didn’t think of including his legs in it too. I’ll keep that in mind next time round – if we ever get another sunny day!!! :(
