A pic of a friend from last weekend. The little mark on her tooth is actually a diamond!

Good to see you here elluDe. You probably won’t see me comment too many times on your portraits though, because I like them just the way they are! This one is no exception – nice simple composition. It works for me just the way it is.

Hey, good to see you here too Ciaran – I was wondering where you’d disappeared to, lol. Always looked forward to seeing some great shots from you.

Likewise, great to see Thorsten, Brandyman, Steve D (and any others I haven’t noticed yet) :)

    Thanks Steve :)

Unfortunately she doesn’t really like having her picture taken – a pity as I think she has a great look!

Here’s another from the same time…

Yep that is a pity. She has one of the prettiest smiles I have seen in a long time!

    Cliff,

I had always heard that PS techniques work best when the image is perfectly exposed to start with. So I thought this was a great image to try a few new methods on, let me know what you think!

Great portrait. Well done. Can’t really say much else than that. :)

The problem is that I’m giving her prints of these and she might think it a little odd if the diamond had mysteriously vanished!

Steve – I think you did a great job on all three! Like the one on the right (toning?) best but the other edits are excellent too.

Really will have to pick up some editing tips from you sometime soon.
