Photography shops in Dublin
-
bahiaParticipant
Hello, i?d like to print somo photos, and i?d like to know if anyone know any shop who prints photos with quality in Dublin, preferebly near the city centre, also would like to know gear shops.
Thanks,
Daniel
ciaranParticipantConns Cameras on Clarendon Street. They’re a little bit pricey sometimes, especially on nikon gear, but their service is excellent and most of their staff really know their stuff. Great shop too..
I must own shares in them at this stage considering the amount of time I spend in there, not to mention money :?
bahiaParticipantciaranParticipantThere are loads of others:
Berminghams on the quays – they do have a website, but I can’t find the URL at the moment.
The Camera Store. There’s one of these on the top of Grafton Street as well as having branches in The Square shopping centre in Tallaght and Blanchardstown Town Shopping Centre
Gunns on Wexford Street – very old and pokey but good at developing B&W negs :)
The Camera Exhange – one on Suffolk Street (tiny) and the bigger one on Georges Street.
Pixels on Liffey Street (not so good any more IMO)
To name but a few.
bahiaParticipantThanks again, i think for now i?ll check just the connscameras, they have a quite handy map, but probabily not today… With this weather not even to take photographs i want to go out… 8)

With weather like this, I wish I was in town with my camera. Just think.. puddles, people dashing around, umbrellas, dark clouds, lots of drama.
bahiaParticipantI agree, but that?s not the point, i just don?t want to get cold and wet… Well i have to measure very well the pro and against of this situation, later i will have a decision …:P
IOPParticipantI have a list of camera shops on the links page of our web site

If there are any missing just let me know and I’ll add them (particularly from outside Dublin)

Haha, I’d certainly rather be out in the rain, experimenting with photography, than stuck in this office! Well said! :D
