Hi all,
I am new here also, have had an interested in Photography the last few years, I own a Fuji Finepix S5600. I hope to learn more about the art of Photography. I have tried the camera club approach which was great but with a busy family and work life it is often difficult to make it to meetings. The online forum may offer the same shared learings as a camera club without being tied to a location for a meeting at a particular time.

You’re not far wrong. I find forums probably better a much better learning environment that camera clubs – a close second to actually getting out and shooting. Look forward to seeing your work. Loving the avatar :).
