Right guys,
As you know, I am new to these forums and I’ve thought of a great way for me to get to know you all.
I want you all to post two images and two images only. No critques, no comments, just two landscape images. The first should be your personal favorite landscape (taken by you obviously!)
The second should be what you consider to be, technically, your best image.Lets see what you are all made of. Anyone who fails to post will be added to my ignore list!!
I’ll start the ball rolling.Favorite – Dunree, Inishowen, Donegal
Technical – Whiterocks, Antrim

Mick451ParticipantRobMemberandy mcinroyParticipantNow guys, read the instructions,
Just images. We can open the thread up to comments and critique when everyone has posted.
There must be more than this? Keep them coming.
Andy
RobMemberAs a consumate beginner, I don’t have any idea what my best technical shot might be, I’ll just post my own favourite landscape for now. Took this the first week I bought my camera….
Moonlight on Kalamaki Beach, Zakynthos
MoyaParticipantI’ll echoe what Rob said…I’m not up to speed on techy stuff…..yet! This is one of mine that I like……
MarkKeymasterAnyhow, a few of my favorite shots. All which could be improved no doubt but here they are.
Some are reposts.
yes the horizon is not straight. I’ve just noticed it now.andy mcinroyParticipantOk folks, seeing as nobody can read the instructions, lets throw the thread open to comments and critique.
9 image posters was a bit disappointing. It’s not to late to post and regain the respect of your fellow landscapers. Keep it to two images though. It’s hard I know.
Carl, get your badge ready.
Richiehatch, super, super images. You’ve chosen two excellent and contrasting images. I love the light and clarity on the second. It seems to sum up the Irish landscape so well.
Steve, love your 2nd image. You’ve obviously been reading up on your colour theory. Super colour and beautiful composition.
