Brewin’ up a storm KPMParticipant September 1, 2006 at 4:16 pm Taken in Galway last year, fairly heavy storm coming over the bay from Clare. This is a scan from a slide, and with my primitive PS skills I have converted to B&W. Any thoughts, or tips on converting to B&W welcome (I only have PS elements, not CS). Thanks Kevin kenmurphyParticipant September 1, 2006 at 4:19 pm kevin I realy like it …………….the tones imho are spot on RobertoMember September 1, 2006 at 4:25 pm The composition and b&w conversion is good but I don’t like the texture of the water. andy mcinroyParticipant September 1, 2006 at 10:43 pm Top class sky. Really super and the rainshower adds a little bit extra. Foreground is a little weak but the sky more than makes up for it. Andy joe_elwayParticipant September 2, 2006 at 7:17 am I like the foreground. There’s a row of recks in the centre, running diagonally, that work like a lead in. AliParticipant September 2, 2006 at 8:35 pm good range in this shot KPM, nice conversion. Agree with Roberto, texture of the water ironically makes it look like a very arid landscape.
