A few ‘snaps’ of Denver taken on fairly poor quality gear. C & C, ideas etc. all most welcome.

I like the night shot. Maybe, need a little sharpness…?
The other two are very interesting with the unusual views. I am not sure if they are good for travel photography but I like them.

I really like the second shot, great angle and comp.

These are nice images. They?re good and the third one is an interesting angle on the subject. It?s debatable but I?d tend to regard them as cityscapes and such scenes rather than travel photos. They’re good in their own right but don?t have a lot of that ?I-must-go-there-sometime? appeal.

The first one is a good example of the guideline about placing the horizon a third from the top or from the bottom. I think that cropping a bit off the sky to place the horizon line about a third from the top would help this image.

Go raibh maith agaibh ar an C & C.

Good advice and observations. The sharpness of the first shot is a bit off because I didn’t have me tripod. All shots were taken with a 350D and a 17-85mm IS EF-S lens which is useful but has been giving me mixed results particularly as regards sharpness.
