Steve Irwin dies

  I woke up this morning to the very sad news that one of my favourite people in the wildlife world, Steve Irwin, had been tragically killed.

  Steve’s enthusiasm for wildlife was infectious, and he will be sorely missed by all I’m sure.

  I actually thought my girlfriend was telling me a really bad joke when she mentioned it this morning. Sad indeed.

  Sad news indeed. It’s people like him that got me interested in wildlife in the first place. His infectious enthusiasm hopefully got the attention and changed the attitudes and behaviour of a lot of people towards the environment and wildlife.

  Incredibly sad! And his poor wife, with two kids! I’m kinda surprised he didn’t tone things down a bit after his kids were born… but I guess a man like that can’t stop doing what he does best! :(
