    A nice image overall Griangraf, although the predominance of pastel colours make it appear somewhat soft. With so much white in the image it almost seems blown. It might have been slightly improved if the butterfly had moved to a darker, leafier background just for some more contrast. However the main subject is beautifully captured and I like the focus and DOF. 8)

    Is it a green veined? Lovely butterfly,it would have been nicer against a more contrasting background but what can ya do?

    It is a green-viened white. I have posted a shot with a slightly darker background. However, I find moderate to dark backgrounds with detailed white objects (i.e. butterflies) often blows out the finer white detail (See Orange tip pic).
